Our mission: to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. 

The ALS Association is the largest philanthropic funder of the ALS research in the world. The Association funds global research collaborations, assists people with ALS and their Families throughout its nationwide network of chapters and certifies clinical care centers, and advocates for better public policies for people with ALS.
